Northern Nevada Public Health is accepting applications for the Food Protection Hearing and Advisory Board. There is one board position that expires June 30, 2026.
The board is appointed by the Washoe County District Board of Health and serves as needed when an appeal or variance hearing is required under regulations governing food establishments. At least two members must be representatives of the local food service industry.
Applications are due Friday, May 29, at 5 p.m. Applicants can find the form on the agency’s website, complete it, and email it to foodsafety@nnph.org.
