A motorcyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Sparks on Wednesday evening.
It happened just after 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Oddie Boulevard and Sullivan Lane, according to a release from the Sparks Police Department.
When officers arrived on scene, they provided medical aid. REMSA also responded to the crash.
Occupants of the vehicle suffered minor injuries and were released at the scene.
Roads in the area of the crash were closed for hours, but have since reopened.
The Sparks Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team responded and has taken over the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
