The Douglas County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) arrested a 14-year-old Douglas High School student for allegedly making "terroristic threats" in class Thursday morning.

According to DCSO Deputies assigned to Douglas High School at around 9:50 a.m., they received an anonymous report that a student had made verbal threats in a classroom about coming to school and carrying out a shooting.

Deputies and School Administrators made contact with the student making the threats and as a result of the investigation they arrested and booked the 14-year-old into the Douglas County Detention Facility for making "terroristic threats".

Deputies say this appears to be an isolated incident, and no other threats to Douglas High Schools have been identified.
