A Nevada man faces several drug-related charges after deputies say they found 5.5 ounces of suspected meth inside his car near South Lake Tahoe.
El Dorado County deputies say they pulled over the driver, Donald Freitas late Sunday night on Lake Tahoe Blvd.
Deputies say during a search of his Nissan Pathfinder they found illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
Freitas was arrested and booked into the El Dorado County Jail on several charges including possession of a controlled substance.
