Early voting officially begins on Saturday morning and it will run through November 1st.
Voters will be able to go to any polling center in their county to vote early.
Polling centers are getting ready, and they want to make sure voters are ready as well.
"Bring any ID that you may have. It is not required but when you do go and vote, you do have to sign to check in and if a vote center manager or a vote center intake specialist sees that the signature doesn't quite match your record, they might ask for identification just to verify who you are or to maybe update your registration if that is what you're seeking," said George Guthrie, Media Production specialist, for Washoe County.
Along with voting in person, people can still drop off a filled-out mail in ballot at any of the county's voting centers.
Voting machines are accessible for all people so you can change the contrast of the screen, and there are audio options for the sight impaired.
If you want to register to vote or change your party affiliation, you can do so during early voting.
"It's not too late, it is okay, you can go to a vote center and same day register, you just need an ID or if you don't have an ID at the time, you can cast a provisional ballot and come back to our office at some point later and then verify who you are by providing some form of identification," said George Guthrie, Media Production specialist, for Washoe County.
