This weekend, the Eureka County Sheriff's Office (ECSO) announced the seizure of around 4,500 pounds of marijuana.
Marijuana is legal in Nevada, but not in the massive amount that was seized in the county.
On April 10, ECSO deputies in Crescent Valley were alerted to a "large amount of marijuana" that was in town.
The ECSO called in the Eastern Nevada Narcotics Task Force for assistance, and together the team found approximately 4,500 pounds of processed cannabis.
The investigation is still ongoing.
