The Fallon Junior Rodeo Association is bringing back the Fallon Junior Rodeo this Labor Day weekend from Aug. 29 through Sept. 2 at the Rafter 3C Arena, located at 325 Sheckler Road in Fallon.

Since 1969, the rodeo has highlighted the talents of children from Nevada and neighboring states.

This year, participants ranging in age from infants to 18 years old will compete in four age divisions, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship in events designed for developing cowboys and cowgirls.

“The Fallon Junior Rodeo Association is thrilled to announce the return of the Fallon Junior Rodeo this Labor Day weekend,” organizers said in a statement. “This year marks an exciting milestone: 55 years of junior rodeo.”

Admission is free for all attendees, and the event remains fully organized and run by community volunteers.

Organizers say the rodeo continues to offer families and visitors the chance to enjoy high-level youth competition while honoring a local tradition that spans decades.
