Local law enforcement agencies have made 13 arrests after joining forces in a HEAT operation conducted to target crimes against child sex exploitation.

The regional Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT), RPD Mobile Engagement Team, Regional Sex Offender Notification Unit, Regional Narcotics Unit, and the Intelligence Services unit worked a two-day undercover operation on October 16 and October 17, at an unknown lodging location to combat children-related sex crimes. 

Police say that during the operation they made the following 13 adult arrests for allegedly attempting to engage in inappropriate sexual activity with whom they believed to be a child. 

Arrested: 

  • Cory Jones, 38-years old on charges of Attempted Sex Assault of a Minor (x2), Attempted Lewdness of a Minor (x2), Conspiracy to Commit Sexual Assault of Minor under 14 (x2).  
  • Jeremy Segura, 35-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Use of a Minor for Sexual Portrayal, Attempted Kidnapping. 
  • Maxwell Henderson, 28-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, FTA Warrant.
  • Janoy Rayson, 28-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Use of a Minor for Sexual Portrayal.
  • Christopher Rippee,36-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation.
  • Victor Ramos,27-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Kidnapping. 
  • Christopher Lennox, 39-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction (x2), Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct (x2), Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation(x2), Attempted Kidnapping (x2).
  • Jason Davis, 41-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Kidnapping, FTC Warrant.
  • Mario Guevara-Lopez, 28-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Use of a Minor for Sexual Portrayal, Attempted Kidnapping. 
  • Scott Johnson, 60-years old on charges of Solicitation of a Child for Prostitution & Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation.
  • Donaldo Mendoza-Mayorga, 19-years old on charges of Solicitation of a Child for Prostitution & Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation.
  • Chris Waffle, 36-years old on charges of Solicitation of a Child for Prostitution & Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation.
  • Michael Cookman, 56-years old on charges of Attempted Stat Sexual Seduction, Luring a Child with the Use of a Computer to Engage in Sexual Conduct, Attempted Child Abuse for Sexual Exploitation, Attempted Kidnapping, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
