Hug High School was briefly placed on lockdown, then a secured campus, due to police activity on campus on Friday.

In a call to parents, Principal Tristan McElhany said that school police work in partnership with local law enforcement agencies to investigate all allegations in such situations.

The campus was quickly returned to all clear after ensuring everyone was safe.

"The safety and security of our students and staff members is our highest priority every day here at Hug High School," said the principal in his call.
