Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect who made a hoax 911 call threatening schools in Carson City and sending them into lockdown.

Elko Police are investigating after a threat was made at Adobe Middle School.

Hug High School was temporarily and inadvertently locked down on Monday due to an activation of the crisis alert system.

The school district has several different measures for safety; including the most commonly known one being 'Secured Campus,' formerly known as code yellow, and 'Lockdown' formerly known as code red.
