I-80 is currently closed over Donner Summit due to snowy conditions. Specifically, CHP says I-80 east is closed at Applegate and I-80 west at the Nevada state line. A portion of I-80 was also temporarily closed on Monday for snowy conditions. 

Mt. Rose Highway is also currently closed, as is portions of SR 88, U.S. 50 and Highway 395 north of SR 203

Winds will be prevalent today remaining between 20-30mph with peak winds gusting up to 40-50mph. Winds with snow can create "white out" conditions on Sierra passes so bring chains and stay updated with road conditions.
