Christmas Tree Recycling

If you want to get rid of that tree for free, there are a few days left to drop it off with Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful.

Their annual tree recycling program runs through Monday.

There will be an additional drop-off weekend at Bartley Ranch *only on the following weekend of January 11th and 12th.

KTMB will also take non-working Christmas lights at three staffed locations through January 6th and the additional weekend of January 11 & 12 at Bartley Ranch. Non-working Christmas Lights can also be dropped off at any Greater Nevada Credit Union in Reno/Sparks through January 6th.

Trees must be free of lights, ornaments, flocking, tinsel, and no wreaths, please.
