During Older Americans Month, local libraries will be holding a scam prevention talk where the Better Business Bureau will share information about current scam trends.
The first free event will be on Tuesday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. at the Northwest Reno Library.
The Sparks Library will also host a scam prevention talk at 11:00 a.m. next Tuesday, May 20.
The BBB says with $12.5 billion lost to fraud last year, scam education can be a person’s best defense.
