Gather your sparkle and share; give back in style by donating your gently used prom attire, helping students shine bright on their big night without breaking the bank.
As prom season approaches, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada (CCNN) calls on the public to donate formal attire, shoes, and accessories to help local students have an unforgettable prom night.
Think about donating those lightly used shoes, gowns, suits, and costume jewelry that may no longer be needed when you dive into your spring cleaning.
Since the majority of proms in the area happen in April and May, students are actively looking for affordable, fashionable clothing that they may buy from St. Vincent's Thrift Stores.
Donations are being accepted at Super Thrift in Sparks and the donation dock at the Catholic Charities 4th Street Thrift Store.
Additional neighborhood drop-off locations can be found on this page on the Catholic Charities website.
Catholic Charities says all the kid's purchases fund their poverty relief programs, and every donation ensures that more kids can go to their prom in style and confidence.
