According to a Facebook post from the Carson City Fire Department, firefighters responded to a reported house fire at 9:19 p.m. Saturday and arrived to find heavy fire conditions.

Crews immediately began their fire attack and search operations, locating and removing a trapped person from inside the home.

The department added, “We are proud of the dedication and quick action of our crews, who demonstrate their commitment to protect the citizens of Carson City every day under difficult and dangerous conditions.”
