SWAT truck

A man is now in custody after barricading himself inside a home in Spanish Springs overnight. 

Police were initially called to Vista Blvd. near Hubble Drive around 11 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Eventually, SWAT responded to the scene - officers say tear gas was deployed to get him out of the house around 7 a.m. 

Vista Blvd. was temporarily closed near Hubble Drive while police responded to the scene.
