The Nevada Humane Society is hosting its annual Tricks & Treats event Thursday in Reno.
The free event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the humane society's Reno campus at 2825 Longley Lane.
Organizers say the event will feature candy, costumes and a contest for the best team decorations.
People attending will also have the chance to meet pets available for adoption throughout the evening.
