A Memorial Day service will be held at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The event will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, May 30th. The community is invited to attend and honor veterans of the past, present, and future.
Volunteers placed small flags on veterans graves Saturday morning in preparation for the service.
Organizers for Monday's ceremony encourage the donation of cookies, cupcakes or other treats to share at the event.
