The Nevada Democratic Party has filed a complaint against Governor Joe Lombardo, alleging he solicited campaign donations during a blackout period.
The blackout period is in place during the Nevada Legislature's Special Session.
NV Dems is alleging the governor solicited the donations to his P.O. box.
Governor Lombardo's campaign provided 2 News Nevada with a response to the allegations, saying, "We have not solicited or accepted any funds during the blackout period, if anything were ever received during this period, it would be returned immediately. We take following the law seriously."
