The Nevada Republican Party is hosting its 2024 Presidential Caucus Feb. 8.

This is the only Republican contest in Nevada where presidential candidates can earn delegates to the Republican National Convention.

Registered Republicans can participate by visiting their caucus location from 5-7:30 p.m. There are a few ways to find your caucus location.

The downside to this method is that it requires you to enter an email address and phone number, and it will sign you up for recurring text messages. If you do not want to enter those personal details, instead:

  • Use your precinct number to look up your caucus location.
    • First, visit Washoe County’s Precinct and District Maps and enter your address. (If you are not in Washoe County use your county's precinct tools or visit the Secretary of State's website and enter your voter registration information).
    • It will pull up several voter information details. Look for the “Voter Precinct” number (or "Election Precinct" on the state's website) and make note of the number.
    • Visit the Nevada GOP’s website and scroll down to find the “First in the West Caucus Locator.” Click on the link. It will pull up a spreadsheet with every precinct number in the state of Nevada. Once you find your precinct number in the far column, it will show you the corresponding address – that is your caucus location.

Voters who would like to participate in the caucus must be registered Republican and bring a government-issued ID to verify their identity.

Republican voters can only cast a ballot by visiting their caucus location in-person between 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8. There will be no other opportunities to cast a ballot.

There are two candidates on the ballot – Ryan Binkley and Former President Donald Trump. The Nevada GOP barred candidates from participating in both the state-run Presidential Preference Primary and the caucus, so candidates like Nikki Haley who participated in the presidential primary will not appear on the caucus ballot.
