First responders put out a car fire on I-580 south on Wednesday night near the Moana Lane exit. They are also investigating a two-car crash that happened while responding to the fire.
The driver in the car fire was able to get themselves out of the car before it was engulfed in flames.
Neither incident resulted in any injuries, according to a spokesperson for the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The vehicles involved in the crash were a blue truck and an SUV.
Lanes have been reduced on I-580 southbound.
Avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
