Sparks Police have released a picture of the suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a child on Tuesday.

Police say they responded to a report of a crash between a vehicle and an electric scooter at 2:41 p.m. at the intersection of Rock Boulevard and I Street.

They confirmed that a child was hit by a vehicle heading south on Rock Boulevard, which then took off southbound.

That vehicle is described as a black Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon, or Chevrolet Tahoe-style vehicle with dark tinted windows. It has visible front-end damage from the crash.

Police are asking the public for help finding the vehicle.
