Reno Police say they've arrested a hospital employee in connection with several thefts at the Northern Nevada Medical Center. 

Police say they first got information of the thefts from multiple patients and employees last month at the medical center's Longley Lane location. 

After a thorough investigation, they learned that employee, 30-year-old Gabriel Ruiz was identified as a suspect.

Ruiz was booked last week on the following charges:

* Identity theft

* Use of credit card without consent x8

* Possession stolen credit card

The investigation is ongoing.
