Restoration work on the historic Piper's Opera House in Virginia City is continuing, with some work on doors and windows being completed.
One set of historic front doors and windows are back in place, according to a post from Storey County on X.
"As the owner of Piper’s Opera House, Storey County is committed to preserving this historic landmark to ensure it remains a part of our community for generations to come," said the county in its post. "This work is being completed in partnership with the Commission for Cultural Centers and Historic Preservation, which provides state bond grant funding for the restoration of historic properties across Nevada."
The Old Corner Bar at the opera house is open during construction.
The Reyman Brothers team is working on the restoration.
