Here's a look at the tentative measures of snowfall at nearby mountain passes, according to local resorts.
In the backyard of Reno, Mount Rose Ski Tahoe reached 88 inches of snowfall.
In the Tahoe area, Palisades Tahoe reached 79 inches.
Also in California, Northstar saw approximately 87 inches of snowfall, while Kirkwood reached 70 inches of snow.
Heavenly and Sugar Bowl were the two lowest, Heavenly is at 58 inches, and Sugar Bowl is at 66 inches.
Many Resorts have started to open as snowfall hit earlier this week.
In Reno-Sparks, low temperatures are to be expected, but no snowfall stayed in the valley.Â
