Special Olympics Nevada athletes looked to make a splash at this year's Carson City Swimming Regional.
The event took place Sunday morning, May 18 at the Carson Aquatic Facility in Carson City.
The annual meet brings together swimmers from Carson City, Douglas County, South Lake Tahoe, Truckee and Washoe County.
According to organizers, the yearly event provides inclusive opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities to compete and connect with others.
