A suspect in a residential burglary in Virginia City is in custody in California.
35-year-old Laura Adams of Auburn, California was in custody in Nevada County, California on local charges according to a release from the Storey County Sheriff's Office on Facebook.
She was also being held on a $75,000 cash or bond warrant out of Storey County.
Adams is one of three suspects in a burglary in the Virginia City Highlands.
The warrant out of Storey County includes charges of residential burglary, 1st offence; harbor, conceal, or aid felony offender with intent to promote or assist a criminal gang; conspiracy to commit theft; theft, value of $100,000 or greater.
Adams will be extradited to Storey County after satisfying local charges in California.
