Three people have been taken to the hospital following a crash on Vista Boulevard in Sparks on Friday.

Three cars were involved, according to the Sparks Police Department, which says speed was likely a factor.

The crash happened after 1:15 p.m. on Friday. 

Vista Boulevard was closed in both directions from Vista Del Rancho to Wingfield Hills, but one lane of traffic in each direction has since reopened.

People are advised to use alternate routes.
