Two Carson High School students were arrested Thursday morning on weapon-related charges.

The Carson City Sheriff's Office says the school was secured after a student saw the two playing with a paintball gun and possibly another weapon on campus, though they did not know if a second weapon was a gun.

Several agencies, including the Carson City Juvenile Probation, and Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing arrived on scene and quickly detained the students.

The school resumed normal operations about 20 minutes later.
