Two people were rescued after their canoe capsized in the Truckee River.
According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, it happened just after noon Sunday near Lockwood Road in Lockwood. When rescue crews arrived, they found two people who were stuck on a rock in the middle of the fast moving river.
Storey County Fire, Sparks Fire and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office were all part of the rescue
Officials say no one was hurt.
