Two suspects have been arrested and booked on multiple charges after allegedly fleeing from Nevada Highway Patrol troopers twice on Thursday morning.
Â
Troopers attempted a traffic stop on a white pickup truck just after 8:20 a.m. in the area of I-580 and South Meadows Parkway in Reno when the truck fled, according to a release from NHP.
Â
Later, around 10:30 a.m., the truck was located in the area of Eastlake Boulevard and U.S. 395 Alternate, where it again fled.
Â
Troopers deployed spike strips, flattening the truck's tires.
Â
After the tires were flattened, the driver of the truck drove around another mile before running off the right side of the road and stopping at U.S. 395 Alternate and Tinhorn Road.
Â
Investigators are unable to confirm if there are any other suspects related to this case. This investigation is ongoing.
Â
Anyone with information in the case is urged to call the Nevada State Police, Investigations Division, at 775-684-7430.
Â
U.S. 395 Alt. near Eastlake Blvd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
