A man with a nationwide warrant has died from a self-inflected gunshot wound after being located by deputies.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office says Michael Jocoboni was found on Saturday, September 13.
Deputies got a tip from the public of a man walking on the dirt portion of Vicki Lane, in Minden matching the description of Michael Jocoboni. Deputies confirm the subject to be Jocoboni.
Deputies made contact with Jocoboni, during the attempted arrest, he shot himself in the head.
Deputies say Jocoboni allegedly stole a gun from his father the day before when he removed his ankle monitor.
The Sheriff's Office says lifesaving efforts were given. Jocoboni was flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno where Jocoboni was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Douglas County deputies need your help finding a teen wanted for probation violations on felony charges for attempted sexual assault and burglary.
Deputies say 18-year-old Michael Jocoboni is the subject of a nationwide warrant with bail set at $50,000 cash/bond.
He was last seen in the Johnson Lane area of Minden and is currently considered a fugitive.
If you see him, do not approach.
Call 911 immediately to report his location.
