The Washoe County Regional Animal Services will be raising fees and fines soon.
Washoe County commissioners approved the increases at this week’s public meeting.
Increased fees include licenses, permits, shelter operations, vaccinations, veterinary services, and more.
The update will also enable a phased increase for the Variance Permit Annual Fee, Dangerous Dog Annual Fee and Exotic Animal Permit Annual Fee.
The county says the fees haven't been changed since 2005.
The increases take effect on January 1st.
