Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies and personnel with Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue came together to rescue a person who fell into a small ravine.
It happened on Thursday around 10:45 a.m. in the area of El Rancho Drive and Clinton Court in Sun Valley.
Working together, crews ensured the person was helped back up, according to a post by the WCSO on X.
The person was taken to the hospital for evaluation of minor injuries after they were rescued.
"We are grateful for the continued partnership and teamwork that allows us to respond quickly and effectively when our community needs us most," said the Sheriff's Office in their post.
