A woman accused of shooting a man near the Peppermill casino in March has pleaded guilty to a felony charge.Â
Prosecutors say Loiselle Catalano pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon on May 13th.
In exchange for her plea, she could face up to 1-5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine when she's set to be sentenced on July 15th.
UPDATE MARCH 18, 2025:
Reno Police have arrested a woman they say shot a man near the Peppermill casino on Sunday night.Â
Police say they responded around 8 p.m. to find a man with an apparent gunshot wound.Â
Officers arrested 31-year-old Loiselle Catalano they say while she tried to run away.Â
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.Â
Catalano was booked into the Washoe County Jail on charges of Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Firearm without a Permit and Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated.
Police say there's no threat to the public.
