A woman taken into custody in Reno on Wednesday is also a suspect in an incident in Sparks.
On Tuesday, around 1:20 p.m., Sparks Police officers responded to the Parkside Garden Apartments for a report of shots fired.
Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound.
In a release, the SPD said he suffered the wound in a property dispute and was taken to Renown, where he is being treated for a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigation by Sparks Police detectives revealed the victim and his ex-girlfriend were arguing over property.
The suspect, identified as Breann Celaya, allegedly arrived at the apartment complex in a car and fired at the victim as he approached the vehicle.
Celaya then allegedly fled and was later found by Reno Police during an unrelated investigation.
RPD recovered the gun allegedly used in the incident.
Celaya was arrested by the Reno Police Department, and later was additionally booked in the Sparks incident with battery with a deadly weapon, domestic violence, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
The SPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or anyone with information regarding the shooting to contact Sparks Detectives at (775) 353-2225 or Secret Witness at (775) 322-4900.

Reno Police arrested two people early Wednesday morning following a fight that led to the recovery of a stolen gun.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on June 11, officers responded to home in the area of Emery Drive and Walt Street for a report of a fight between former roommates.
According to Reno police, 36-year-old Breann Celaya and 36-year-old Jorge Trujillo-Gutierrez went to the home to confront an adult resident over a civil issue.
Police say the confrontation escalated into a physical altercation, which possibly involved a gun.
Officers quickly located everyone involved and recovered a stolen gun at the scene.
Trujillo-Gutierrez was arrested for simple battery and two outstanding warrants.
Celaya was arrested for possession of a stolen gun, possession of a gun by a prohibited person, and failure to register as a convicted felon.
Both were booked into the Washoe County Jail.
