A woman is dead after a wrong-way crash on I-80 east of Fernley early Saturday morning.
The crash happened near mile marker 56 just after 4:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say a wrong-way pickup was heading west on I-80 when it crashed into a sedan heading eastbound.
NHP says the truck driver and sedan driver were both taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Troopers say a child, sitting in the back of the sedan, suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
They say the front-right passenger, an unidentified woman, died on scene.
NHP says impairment is suspected in the crash.
