Luther Mack Jr., founder of Mack Associates Inc., has died.
His daughter, Janelle Mack Conine, confirmed his passing.
Mack lived in Nevada from the time he was six months old according to the UNLV Business Hall of Fame.
He held several positions within Nevada government agencies like the Nevada Department of Employment Security, the Department of Highways, and the Small Business Administration.
He also served on the Nevada State Athletic Commission for 13 years, the UNLV Hall of Fame said.
Mack's company has owned and operated McDonald's franchises in Nevada since 1975.
