Friday night just before 8 p.m., the Reno Police Department and REMSA responded to a major injury crash involving two cars near North Virginia St. and Vista Rafael Parkway.
The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The other driver stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police say speed and alcohol do appear to be a factor in the crash.
