Crews in Dallas search for missing after massive apartment fire leaves fatalities

A fire official says a huge fire has destroyed a two-story apartment building in Dallas. A search for the missing remained ongoing hours after the flames were brought under control. Dallas Fire-Rescue Deputy Chief Mark Berry confirmed during a news conference Thursday that there were fatalities. He says first responders' mission has changed from rescue to recovery. Officials said the fire erupted after someone called 911 to report a gas leak. Assistant Chief James Russ of Dallas Fire-Rescue says at least four people were taken to a hospital with injuries.
