U.S. stock indexes are drifting lower while oil prices climb. The S&P 500 fell 0.4% Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 283 points, and the Nasdaq composite fell 0.4%. The company behind Booking.com and Priceline sank to one of the market's sharper losses as worries continue about whether AI competitors could steal away its customers. Such concerns have been rolling through Wall Street recently and hitting various industries. Walmart erased an early gain and then swung between gains and losses following its profit report. Oil prices rose with worries about a potential U.S.-Iran conflict.
