The last two names of the six U.S. soldiers killed in a Kuwait attack have been released by the Pentagon, and they are from California and Iowa. The soldiers identified Wednesday were 55-year-old Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert Marzan of Sacramento and 45-year-old Maj. Jeffrey O’Brien of Indianola, Iowa. They died Sunday when a drone hit a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait. The strike came one day after the U.S. and Israel launched its military campaign against Iran. The Pentagon said Marzan was at the command center and died when the drone strike hit. A medical examiner will confirm identification. Four soldiers were previously identified by the Pentagon on Tuesday.

President Donald Trump joined grieving families at Dover Air Force Base for the dignified transfer of six U.S. Army Reserve soldiers killed in Kuwait. On Saturday, Trump and Vice President JD Vance attended the dignified transfer with their spouses and top administration officials. Trump spoke earlier in Miami, calling the troops heroes. He says their return is heartbreaking and he wants to limit U.S. war deaths. Trump stayed silent during the transfer, as protocol requires. He saluted as flag-draped transfer cases moved from the military aircraft to waiting vehicles. He later told reporters that it's a “very sad day” and that he was “glad we paid our respects.” The six U.S. soldiers were killed in a drone strike at a command center.
