Israel has sent Iron Dome anti-missile batteries and personnel to the United Arab Emirates to defend the country during the Iran war. The U.S. ambassador to the UAE made the announcement Tuesday at an event in Tel Aviv. The UAE, a federation of seven sheikhdoms, diplomatically recognized Israel in 2020. The UAE did not immediately respond to a request for comment. This move highlights the growing defense relationship between the two countries, which have long been suspicious of Iran.
