US District Judge Jennifer A. Dorsey sentenced 29-year old Kenton Hardy King to 16 years and 8 months in prison for multiple child exploitation charges.
The time in prison is to be followed by 10 years of probation for the charges of coercion and enticement, child sexual exploitation and possession of child sexual abuse material.
King, of Las Vegas, met a 15-year old girl through an online chat site called Omegle in June 2020.
He convinced the girl to have sex with him, with the purpose of filming and photographing it. He then threatened to send pictures and video of the girl to her family, friends and schoolmates.
King possessed child porn on two of his cell phones.
In June of this year, a jury found King guilty of the charges listed above.
The FBI and Henderson Police Department led the investigation on the case.
