Navi Pillay, a former U.N. human rights chief and judge on the International Court of Justice, has won the Nobel Peace Prize. The South Africa-born Pillay, 85, was honored for her efforts to promote peace and international law. Jørgen Watne Frydnes, chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, announced her win on Friday in Oslo, Norway.
