Federal law enforcement warned the parents of Caleb Vazquez, one of two teenagers involved in a San Diego mosque shooting, about his concerning online comments days before the attack. The parents have filed a lawsuit against Park Mental Health Treatment of San Diego, where Vazquez was living. The FBI contacted Vazquez's mother on May 14, four days before the shooting, about his dark web activity discussing school shootings. The lawsuit claims the facility failed to intervene despite signs of imminent danger. Park Mental Health disputes the allegations, stating they are not responsible for Vazquez's actions.
