Nevada Supreme Court Accepts Petition to Put Reproductive Rights on Ballot

Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom is moving forward with a second, more specific petition that focuses on abortion. They already have 160,000 signatures, more than the 103,000 needed.

Nevadans for Reproductive Freedom is moving forward with a narrower version of the initial reproductive rights petition that solely enshrines the right to access abortion, despite the clearance of the first version on Thursday.Â
The Supreme Court is expected to rule by the end of June.
The Nevada Secretary of State certified a constitutional amendment regarding reproductive rights to appear on the 2024 November ballot.
