Multiple headliners are set to take to the stage for "Night in the Country,"Â a country and western music festival put on by the Boys & Girls Club of Mason Valley in Yerington.
It is community-driven and organized by a local nonprofit, supporting under privileged youth.
Nick Beaton, Director of Development for The Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley, shared some insight on the history of this event.
"'Night in the Country Music Festival' started 24 years ago as a fundraiser for Boys' and Girls' Clubs of Mason Valley, and 24 years later it's still a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley," he said. "We started in the rodeo arena at the fairgrounds, and now we're in our second year out here on 'The Grange.'"
The 3-day country music festival and fundraiser has attracted 30,000 plus attendees the past several years and is held on held on 160 acres of farmland now known as "The Grange" out in Yerington.
This is a family fun event offering festival campgrounds and competitions with a bit of what has been described as a Burning Man meets country music vibe.
A variety of vendors step up to create a simple, fun, down home good time.
Yerington is about an hour and a half southeast of Reno, tucked back free of city traffic, in a country setting.
Jason Jacobs, founder of Callie Country Cruise adds, "they initially wanted to do a concert cruise on a cruise ship and they couldn't get their board to agree, so they reached out to us and said you guys are the biggest concert cruise designers on the west coast, can you help us? And we came together with this great partnership, and it's really been amazing for both parties."
You can expect a wild and fun lineup of performers and activities to get involved with, from mud volleyball, corn hole, beer relays, campsite contests, yoga, poker tournaments, and more.
There will be multiple stages, including high noon saloon, full moon saloon, stampede stage, and campsite mini‑stages, along with VIP sections, food and drinks.
"Night in the Country" is your go-to annual country music festival in rural Nevada, perfect for a country‑music weekend filled with live shows, camping, and community spirit.
The non-profit event marks Nevada's largest and longest-running country music event.
