The Churchill County School District announced that there will be no school bus blackouts during the last week of school.
The last week of school is from May 20 to May 24.
In a letter to families, superintendent Derild Parsons also said bus applications for the 2024-2025 school year will open the same week.
"Efforts to hire and train more drivers and improve district transportation services have paid off," said Parsons. "At this point in time, it looks like we will start the next school year fully staffed with bus drivers."
