Northern Lights Monday night

Photo taken by the National Weather Service in Reno and the Alert Wildfire Cameras. 

While faint, the Northern Lights were spotted in Northern Nevada Monday night. The National Weather Service in Reno captured a photo outside of their office at 2:45am, and the lights were also visible on the Alert Fire Cameras near Modoc and Siskyou Counties Monday night.

A viewer in Dayton, also saw the Northern Lights Monday night. The viewing line moves further north on Tuesday.
